The FB Racing Club was born off the back of Future Bloodstock which is the breeding operation setup by 3 friends Will Kinsey, Ross Alberto and David Greenway. Our aim is to create an elite band of the highest quality National Hunt broodmares to produce the stars of the future.
We have been in syndicates together before and had success and enjoyment but had seen first hand the struggle to get people to commit to them if they had to have large capital payments up front with which to purchase a horse. We were also limiting ourselves to a certain level of horse because we simply could not compete with the top end of the market.
So with this in mind we decided to buy a mare and try and breed some stock which simply would have been out of our reach if we were to try and get them at the sales as older horses.
So at the very first sale we looked at we narrowed down our search down to a short list and were absolutely amazed to purchase multiple Grade 2 and Cheltenham Festival winner Limini in foal to Australia. She has since had a gorgeous filly who is the spit of her mother. She will be hopefully not too long into the future be seen on the racecourse in the FB Racing Club silks.
Since the purchase of Limini we have continued to try and add the very highest quality mares to run or produce for the FB Racing Club. We then purchased Fishcake and Shaving as stores on the strength of their pedigrees but felt both deserved the chance to shine on the track for themselves with the ever improving mares programmes in both Britain and Ireland. Both fillies pedigrees were boosted hugely from the Cheltenham 2021 results as both of their half brothers Monkfish & Allaho running out hugely impressive winners of their Grade 1 Chases. Just before Cheltenham we were fortunate enough to add Stormy Ireland to our ranks who will hopefully give her members a few fun filled seasons before herself heading off to the Paddocks and producing future prospects.
