Seven Barrows, Lambourn, Berkshire

Nicky has been Champion Trainer in Britain six times since moving to Seven Barrows in 1992. He has well over 60 Cheltenham Festival winners with his very first being See You Then in the 1985 Champion Hurdle. A race Nicky has a terrific record in as See You Then won it twice more in 86 & 87, then came Punjabi in 2009, Binocular in 2010, Buveur D'Air in 2017 & 2018 and then most recently with the mare Epatante in 2020. He has also won the Champion Chase multiple times with such horses as Sprinter Sacre and Altior. He has also claimed the Gold Cup on two occasions with Bobs Worth and Long Run who also won two King Georges.

While Nicky still has a stable full of stars with the likes of Epatante, Shiskin & Constitution Hill, it is his undoubted ability with mares that is the reason we are delighted to have him as one of our trainers now and into the future.
